images stored on remote server

just  wondering i have 2 hosts
i have a server which is quite fast but limited on  bandwidth
but i have another host that does not support copper but i have a fast connection and unlimited storage
can i use the copper mine installed on one and upload the images to the second one by a ftp sync to the second >?

This is how I have this setup.

I have 2 servers

1 - Webserver with Coppermine installed
2 - File Storage Server

These servers reside on a Private network, so file sharing is not a big risk

the "Albums" folder in My coppermine  setup is mounted to the Share on the File server.

The users ftp photos to the file storage server, then use the "Batch Add to Library" function to Import them into the Photo Gallery

both running Versions of Linux
