possible to run coppermine on 2 or more hosts?

Hello i have a new question,
the problem is, my server is running out of disk space, so i need a new one, the problem is i already have 1500gb and the performence is not that realy good,
so i want to ask, is it possible to run ONE coppermine (full database search ect.) on difrent host systems?
or need i one much larger server to continue ?

I don't know any simple way to do so...
It would have to appear as a single database and single filesystem to Coppermine.. .

If it's just disk space, it should be possible to mount an external drive somewhere inside the "albums" directory (operating system dependend). All new uploads have to go to that directory or sub-directory.

Of course you could also move the database to a different server, but as the database is usually quite small, that won't fix your disk space issues.
