Just installed - what do I do now?
« on: December 17, 2014, 05:20:49 pm »

I've just intsalled the product, and all I can see is a page containing sections for news, random files and latest additions.

There doesn't seem to be anywhere to go..

Login then go to Files - Category to create categories, then to Files - Albums to create Albums.

Now click Upload.

I use the curve theme. In your theme, buttons may be diffrent.

On the Albums page, if you choose to create New Album in No category then the albums will show on the main page (gallery home page).

On Documentation link http://documentation.coppermine-gallery.net/en/ you can find how to use and how to make it look the way you want.
Example: remove random files from home page: go to Config - Album list view - The content of the main page and change breadcrumb/catlist/alblist/random,2/lastup,2 to breadcrumb/catlist/alblist/lastup,2

Read the documentation, click all the gallery buttons and see what they do.

If you want something diffrent and is not in the documentation then search the forum or ask on the forum.
