Need help with files

How can I place a zip file or swf file on my coppermine photo site? I tried putting in the extention but it not working. Does this only support pics? Do I need a hack?

If you have coppermine version 1.3.0, then it is standard, and should work.

If it is version 1.2.x, then there is a mod in the mods board (easier to upgrade).

Earlier versions no chance.
