Album manager not working
« on: August 09, 2014, 05:01:18 pm »

I finally took the plunge and went from cpg 1.4.27 to 1.5.x

Aside from a couple of plugins breaking, which I have now removed, everything (that I can see) is working except the album manager is broken on my custom theme. It lists all the categories, but when I click on them it no longer shows the albums, and the create album button is also broken.

If I use the curve theme it works fine, so I'm guessing the problem is my theme. Would anyone be able to help me sort this? I can create a test user for you to have a look.

Thanks,
Jani

Ps. I believe my gallery is the largest in the world!

Please post a link to your gallery and a test user account which is allowed to create albums (no admin account!).

I had a similar problem with the edit, delete, etc. buttons in thumbnail album view of the I feel Dirty theme. The links have been hardcored into the theme and changed later.

Hi!

I have made own custon theme based on curve responsive. I have to upgrade jquery to 1.8.3 and have now problems with album manager.

Code: [Select]
Uncaught TypeError: $(...).tableDnD is not a function
    at HTMLDocument.<anonymous> (albmgr.js:198)
    at l (jquery-1.8.3.min.js:2)
    at Object.fireWith [as resolveWith] (jquery-1.8.3.min.js:2)
    at Function.ready (jquery-1.8.3.min.js:2)
    at HTMLDocument.A (jquery-1.8.3.min.js:2)

Tried to update tableDnd but did not help.

Any ideas to get album manager working with jquery 1.8.3?

Please try and start your own threads in future and if possible resolve them. It makes it a lot easier for others to find good answers to their problems.

For anyone wanting to use different versions of jQuery there are a couple of plugins available such as this - http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,77595.0.html and this one which I have yet to try - http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,74696.0.html

It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.
