I commented on an old thread with suggestions for bypassing the Thumbnail view.  After a lot of investigation it would appear that quite a bit of the information in that thread is no longer relevant (for instance references to thumbnails.php in the theme.php file).
I've searched the plug-ins as well and can't find what I'm looking for.
What I need is for a visitor to click on an album from the home page and go directly into the large image view that has the filmstrip below it.  I do not want to just open up a large image view of the clicked thumbnail.  As it is now, visitors have to click twice to get to the filmstrip view with the large image.
Can anybody point me in the correct direction please?  Thank you in advance.
