Can't use Multiple Files - Flash-driven
« on: May 20, 2014, 11:48:09 am »

Under Upload file, select Can't use Multiple Files - Flash-driven display below error message:

Upload interface is taking a long time to load or the load has failed. Please make sure that the Flash Plugin is enabled and that a working version of the Flash Player is installed.
Alternately you can use the single file upload interface.

Please help.

I get an error on your js/swfupload/swfupload.js file but I don't have a test gallery currently to verify the error. Try uploading a fresh copy of that file.

I search and read a lot of the threads that reference flash errors in these forums.
I couldn't find a thread where I thought my solution would best fit. If there is a better place, I hope the admins move this.

I struggled (for hours) with the flash upload failing. It kept reporting server i/o error; my UNIX server logs didn't show any errors.

Its a long story but I eventually figured out the error was specific to Firefox.

(many steps here .... the steps weren't material so they have been omitted)

Eventually I determined my firewall was blocking FF's plugin-container.exe once I allowed the plugin-container.exe internet access the problem was resolved.

I hope this helps.
