my unicode font error after moving to my NAS
« on: August 05, 2013, 06:31:01 am »

hello experts,

pls help me with my Coppermine.

I just moved my Coppermine gallery from a hosting server to my NAS QNAP at home, everything is perfect except for the font, I use unicode to show my album name, comments.... in Vietnamese, but after moved to my NAS the font is broken. eventhough when typing I use unicode font.

I am not sure if my NAS is lacked of Unicode font or this is the problem of Coppermine.

I tried to change the theme few times but it does not work.

thanks you guys in advance.

Rgds

The theme isn't related to the character encoding. Do you have searched our boards and followed some of the advices how to fix such issues? Please also post a link to your gallery.

Thanks Andre,

I already fixed the problem with the help of an MySQL expert, the reason is the original mysql database is encoded in Latin Unicode, I have convert to general Unicode and it's fine now.
