Transition from coppermine to Next-Gen wordpress
« on: December 09, 2013, 08:51:33 pm »

Not sure if this is the right avenue to go or not, but I have a client that is wanting to get rid of Coppermine for a variety of reasons.  I'm neutral on the fence so don't shoot the messenger, I'm just trying to fulfill his request.

Does ANYONE have experience with this?  I found a script out there and followed the instructions but came to a dead end and something seems to not be working correctly.

I even tried to map the fields from coppermine to those of next gen and do it via a database query but there is some weirdness when it comes to the meta_data field for next-gen gallery. Any help on this is appreciated

As far as I am aware none of us have tried this. Sorry.

It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.
