Moving image files to new folders
« on: December 08, 2013, 04:48:40 pm »

In my CPG gallery I regularly move images from narrowly focused galleries into larger more general galleries as time goes by.   I would like my file/folder organization to reflect the category/album structure, which I have done in my image management software as well.

I recall that there was a file move plugin for 1.4, but I don't see such a thing ifor 1.5.   Is there a way to move files, in the current version, from one folder to another without breaking the CPG gallery?

There are two 'file move' plugins on the download site for 1.5.x: http://sourceforge.net/projects/coppermine/files/Plugins/1.5.x/
They aren't saved alphabetically - so need to search...
cpg1.5.x_plugin_FileMove_v1.3.zip
cpg1.5.x_plugin_file-move_v0.4.zip
I haven't used either - so can't comment on one over the other.

Ah, thanks.

Funny, they aren't on this page where I was looking:

Please have a look at the yellow box:

Attention! As this overview isn't updated frequently, it's recommended to have a look at the appropriate plugin contributions boards for cpg1.4.x and cpg1.5.x if you haven't found your desired plugin.

Our team is currently too small to maintain that site, so it actually hasn't been updated since quite a while.
