Deleted coppermine database
« on: July 30, 2013, 12:04:23 am »

I accidently deleted my coppermine database so I created a new one and a user on it with the same name and password and all rights. All photos, albums and etc are still on my file manager but I get this error:

Quote
Fatal error :

While executing query 'SELECT name, value FROM cpg15x_config' in include/init.inc.php on line 179

mySQL error: Table 'weheartb_coppermine.cpg15x_config' doesn't exist

How to connect the database to my gallery without having to start the gallery all over again.

Please help me because I uploaded like 20,000 photos that are hard to find and I need my gallery back. I just don't think I'll have the power to upload all this photos and sort them again.

The database is totally separate from files and folders and is critical for the operation of Coppermine.

If you don't have a backup copy, ask your host if they make backups.

To all current and future readers of this - MAKE BACKUPS

Moving to Miscellaneous

I contacted the host and they fixed the problem, it's all ok now.
