What exactly do you try to accomplish and what exactly doesn't work?

The threads you referred contain several solutions. Please describe with your own words what exactly you want to do. I assume that you want to display the album description on the thumbnails page and probably remove/truncate it on the album list view. But I don't know what you've done so far and what exactly doesn't work as expected. Please also post a link to your gallery.

Please don't edit include/themes.inc.php. Instead, copy the functions you'd like to modify from themes/sample/theme.php to your theme's theme.php file, if they don't exist.

However, to fix your current code, find
