install.php in your root directory.

Once everything is uploaded, run www.yoursite.com/galleryname/index.php

That should be http://www.yoursite.com/galleryname/install.php

You only need to do this once.

oh dear, my bad.

Good catch Casper. :-[

(say, does it forward to the install.php by default when you visit the index page?  If so, I'm saved from being totally wrong :D)

No, it doesn't.  You just get a critical error if you visit the index.php before you have run install.php.

I think I added some code to cpg1.3.0 that redirects you to the installer if it has never been run when visting index.php, so imo murphyz is right for cpg1.3.0, but wrong for cpg1.2.1.
