Text wrapping or line breaks in annotate plugin possible?
« on: June 19, 2013, 03:26:46 pm »

I've installed the annotate v3.0 plugin and it works fine - thanks a lot to the coders.

But if the text length exceeds a specific number of characters the annotation is displayed in one single line and overlaps all other content instead of an automatic text wrapping. Moreover the background image is only shown up to 250 px wide.

As workaround I tried to use br-tags for line breaks. And as I had hoped the text will be displayed with line breaks after I clicked on the save button. But if I reload the site or enter the url in a browser window no br-tags will be interpreted - just have a look to the attached screenshots.

It would be great if anyone could help me to solve this issue.

Thanks in advance

Best regards,

Andreas

Please have a look at pftq's code contribution, which adds a text wrapping feature.
