Is in anyway possible to assign multiple usergroups to one albums?

Here is a description of what i want to do:

Administrators
Only administrators can upload, but users should be able to browse and search as follows

Group 1
View and search all albums


Group 2
View and search following albums
Album 1
Album 2
Album 4


Group 3
View and search following albums
Album 1
Album 4

Group 4
View and search following albums
Album 2
Album 5

[Insert your own combinations from here ]

Guests have no access

This means I am looking for a way to assign
Album 1 to group 1+2+3
Album 2 to group 1+2+4
Album 3 to group 1
Album 4 to group 1+2+3
Album 5 to group 1+4

I'm looking for a plugin, a way to "cheat", a check box to check, anything to help me on this?

Hope anyone outthere has the answer I want to hear?

Unfortunately that's not possible in cpg1.5.x and as far as I know there's no mod or plugin that adds this feature. We plan to add that feature in cpg1.6.x.

That was not the answer i wanted to hear How ever, there seem to be a light at the end of the tunnel. Now I'm just hoping it's not an oncoming train

Unfortunately that's not possible in cpg1.5.x and as far as I know there's no mod or plugin that adds this feature. We plan to add that feature in cpg1.6.x.

Any ideas or ballpark on when this will happen?
REALLY REALLY looking forward to this feature...and pretty much ONLY this feature to be honest
