I setup the installation and every thing went well. But wen I want to login I got the message You don't have permission to access this page.

I have tried to reinstall coppermine + database but this wont help.

Then I have tried to install coppermine 1.0 and this one worked. But I want to use 1.1

So who can help me to get coppermine 1.1 working.

(I'm sorry but this is the right forum not CPG 1.1.1. So can anyone delete the other topic of my)

Can you post your URL and optionally phpinfo()?

this is probably a cookie issue. I you're using IE6, make sure your browser accepts your own cookies ("Tools" - "Options" - "Privacy"). Also see to it that you don't have any third part software running on your machine (Cookie Washer or similar, Personal Firewall etc.) that'll block the usage of cookies.
If this doesn't work, try deleting the cookie on your local hard drive.

see FAQ: I can't login to Coppermine. What's wrong?

The settings for the cookies I set to LOW but it is still not working
Then I set the settings to ask so I can accept the cookie. There was a message with the question "Do you accept the cookie" I answer yes and tried to login but I could not login.

You're using a Windows server.  It's hard to find out where the problem lies...  although I didn't get the "You do not have permission.." message, the admin bar does not show up.  I suspect it's the way the session is set up in PHP but since I have no experience in Windows servers, I could be wrong..

if you feel comfortable with mySQL, try switching on debug_mode manually by editing the cpg11d_config table in phpMyAdmin...

I think I will try to setup apache mysql and GD again. Maybe this wil solve the problem.

If you go to admin.php and then log in you get the message
you do not have permission

I'm not familiar with php, but could this have anything to do with php not recording the sessions properly or something? At  first when I logged in I didn't see the message either, i went straight into user mode, without the admin bar. But then I tried to force the admin bar on using admin_mode=1 and I saw the "You don't have permission to access this page." message that michael talked about. And then I realized that it was because I had been logged out. (usually when you open login.php when you're already logged in it should show give you an error that you're already logged in, in this case it didn't, it prompted for the user and password.)

I hope this will give someone more familiar with php some way to fix the problem. On the other hand this could be total bull shit..  :)  Anyway, hope it does help though...
