don't double-post nor cross-post. I merged your identical posting (one from the 1.2 support board) into one.

Then while file do I run? The themes/ files are not the same and I click on Config but didn't load fully. So I guess I never do it correctly.

like I said: replace all files on your webserver with the ones from the cpg1.2.1 packages - this means the themes and everything as well.

He may also have to make these changes, if he has a 1.3 db structure:

1. rename user_groups to user_lang in users table
2. manually change 'classic' to 'default' in config table (if this is his current theme)

I'll do a bit of research tomorrow, but I think that's all that needs to be changed. At least, the settings that could cause a "crash".

@bryan: You need to post the errors you're getting, so you can be helped properly.  :-\\

Okay thanks.

Possible to come out with a simply .php script to help with those downgrading process you mentioned? I am not good at those db, sql stuff.

Yea, but you may have to wait a week for a script.

err, a downgrade tool? I didn't dare to ask in the first place, but why do you want to downgrade anyway?

Indeed. I could guess a few being, language, old-feature, can't use CVS to download the stable version.  ;D I wasn't going to ask though.
