When I try to sort the sequence of pictures in an album, I'm unable to sort pictures that share a keyword with another album. I understand these pictures won't appear in 'Edit files' or 'Sort my pictures' in the hosting album, since they're keywords pointing to a picture in the database. Is there some way to sort all of the pictures in an album, including pictures using keywords?

E.g. This album has only 25 original pictures, the rest are keyword links, that I'm unable to sort: http://www.lucitphoto.com/thumbnails.php?album=143

Some technical background. If you sort pictures, Coppermine stores the order in the database field "position" at the pictures table for each picture. As this value is stored just once per picture, the sort order of the pictures will change in all album where the picture occurs. Regarding linked pictures collisions can occur (means, the same value for "position"). In this case, the picture ID is used as second criteria for sorting the pictures.

If this doesn't matter in your gallery, we can try to display the linked pictures in "Sort my pictures".

After due consideration, it would be more practical for me to simply upload the image (again) for each album as a discreet entry in the database. I can then change the title and description as well the the position.  Thanks for your help, André... much appreciated!
