The problem with performance
« on: September 03, 2013, 10:15:10 pm »

Hello.
I have problems with performance of the gallery.
Without active users pages loading speed is acceptable(1-3s).
But with just 5 users online time loading pages and images about 7-10 seconds. (Attachment)
I set up everything according to http://documentation.coppermine-gallery.net/en/performance.htm except albums hit counter.

I have a question: what are the minimum server requirements for the gallery and how to find out what it is causing problems?
Gallery: http://daitepak.com/
(Server - vps with 1gb ram)

The first 2 topics with other issues were ignored. If I do something wrong let me know.
Sorry for bad english.

http://documentation.coppermine-gallery.net/en/requirements.htm

Do a search of the forums as there are a number of threads dealing with speed issues such as yours.

It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

CPU power is very important. You have about 75k pictures in your gallery. Some meta albums consumes quite a lot of resources with the growing number of pictures. Check the debug output for page loading and query times, maybe you got some more information what's going on.

It seems I was wrong.
It had a problem with the network. Visitors from some countries had a load time of 14 to 30 seconds, causing increased the average load time.
