Hyperlink Code
« on: December 18, 2012, 07:07:54 pm »

So on my other gallery (early version and not usre what version exactly) I have it so when you view a picture the hyperlink code is shown below it (img tags). I have searched high/low thru the settings and documentation and I cannot find where this is an option on 1.5.20.

Am I blind or is it not there?

That feature never existed in any Coppermine version out of the box. However, there's a plugin for cpg1.5.x.

Ok so I have downloaded the zip file on the thread you posted Andre. The zip file contains 3 files and when I try to install any of them I get an error

The file uploaded is not a plugin package

I am doing right from what I can tell...

No I didn't want to remove anything but add below the picture a copy/paste window. After some research on my old gallery I had a plugin

Copy /Paste BB Code image url v1.2
by Stramm. I have searched thru all available plugins for 1.5.x and there is nothing like that available from what I can tell..

Sorry I misread the thread. The plugin Αndré posted should work fine.

So I wasn't able to get the plugin to upload via the first method (Browse, pick zip file and upload). It would do something with no result-odd.

So I had to use the second method of ftp "embed" folder into the plugin folder.  Since there were 3 files I tried each one with errors on 2 files and codebase.php gave me

Not in Coppermine...

Went to the plugin management area and it showed as there. I installed it and clicked all the boxes for all options and I see nothing.

Again at a loss...

Those should be checked depending on what settings you want. I meant the file information displayed on the intermediate image page (displayimage.php). The links should show there after you check the boxes you want.

Ok now I can see it. I just need to figure out how to move the bbcode to under the picture.

That plugin most likely uses the file_info plugin hook. If you know a little php, you can edit the plugin to use the html_image plugin hook.

I guess its time for me to learn something new. I have been doing allot the last few years with VBB forums--guess I will have to do more reading on this to figure it out.

Maybe Stramm's plugin can be ported to cpg1.5.x (or even used as-is). Can you please post a link to the plugin's announcement thread?

At the end of that thread its stated that version is also for 1.5.x but I haven't found it.

If I was smart enough to make a version for 1.5.x I would be all over it...
