Here is what I am trying to create:
i have 26 groups that each have one album. I want each of them to only be able to view, upload, download the photos of only their album. each group has from 30-50 people. AFter 2 days working with your software I realize how great it is and would be surprised if it does not have this functionality.

possible Solution
I gave each group an album password so they can view,download the photos of only their group.

I created a single Global registration password so that only my groups can register.

Problems with solution.
Registered user receives ERROR Sorry there is no album where you are allowed to upload files
Maybe registered users can not upload photos to an album since the album password prohibits uploads. I know that people that can not access the albums can not upload photos to them, but shouldn't knowing the album password and being logged in grant them the ability to upload. So, i know that this is a property of the software, but do not see how to do what I want to do.
While troubleshooting i noticed that the registered user can create their own album and upload to it, but that is not what i am trying to do. They should upload to a group(school) album

every album properties:
album view by me
password protect - check
password works
visitor can upload files-no , this is to prevent everyone from posting to my albums

Group properties:
registered
public album upload - allowed yes; approval no
Guest
public album upload - allowed no, approval yes

Change Visitors can upload files to yes.
