Maximum User Groups??
« on: October 18, 2012, 11:46:23 pm »

The question.... is there a maximum user groups?

because i'm building my picture site and for every album i create a user group.
This way i can manage which user can see which album.

I re-installed coppermine like 3 times..... builded my picture site like 3 times.... everytime it hits
like a 100 groups it just stops working properly.
Strange issues i see then is:
- not able to create new group
- not able to change settings on any group
- not able to assign users to groups

I tried the error logging, nothing to see....

Any help? please?

I would say this is probably a problem caused by a hosting limitation.

No one an idea??? what type of settings could limit your hosting on this matter?
i have my own Synology NAS a 1511+ with an additional extention + Memory upgrade.

So i must be able to adapt my own settings if i would know which there were :-)

You'll have to ask your host to look at the logs, give them the date and times you had the issues.

Additionally you can turn on debug mode and see if anything is displayed there.

I just created 150 user groups successfully. Maybe the PHP setting post_max_size has to be increased.
