Slideshow capability
« on: October 05, 2012, 07:41:36 pm »

I have upgraded Coppermine from v1.4.10 to v1.5.20.   Using the standard packaged themes I find that there is no slideshow capabilty in any browser regardless of the theme selected.   I then tried installing the plugin "Lightbox" for v1.5.x but find that no directional buttons appear, or a slideshow option, on any theme.

(All used to work fine in the Coppermine v1.4.10 but I was forced to upgrade Coppermine by a recent PHP upgrade to 5.3.14 at my webhost.)

Can anyone suggest a cure or an alternative tested slideshow plugin that works with Coppermine's v1.5.x standard themes?

Click on the slideshow icon on the intermediate image page (displayimage.php). Icon image attached.

Or add this at the end of the address when viewing the intermediate image.
&slideshow=5000#top_display_media

Lightbox would be the plugin to use if you didn't want to use the stock slideshow.

If the problem isn't finding how to start a slideshow and instead that it doesn't work at all we will need more details and Please post a link.

HI Jeff,  Thanks for the quickk reply.    I do not get a slideshow button on any of the standard themes, with or without lightbox.   I have de-installed and re-installed several times to no avail.  Please see http://www.gillanded.com

I have run the Admin Tools, update function on all images to no avail.

I am desperate for help on this as I cannot see why I have lost all the nav buttons  (previous/next etc)  and the slideshow capability.
php ,  coppermine verisons are shown in my previous post.  Lightbox was downloaded from the plugins link for Coppermine 1.5.x on http://coppermine-gallery.net/plugins.php?cpg_version=5

That cured it!   Thank you for the help, - I spent hours and hours trying to fix the slideshow problem and I guess I missed that little tick box!    ;D
