1.5.20 and full sized image
« on: September 30, 2012, 10:34:26 pm »

When we used to click the intermmediate size image we would get the full size. I have the gallery set right...I think...to show full size along with the thumb and mid size but when we all click on the mid to get the large it does not show as full...it appears to be another size in between (athough still not real close to full size)

This is with member using IE8 and 9, Safari, Google, Firefox 8-15 so at first i thought it was a browser setting...then I find that some computers do get a full size version.

I use a laptop with 1280x900 screen running Vista, some run XP (those sometimes get the full size view some do not)

Is there a way to get the full size view to show?

these are my settings using GD2 in the images attached

Just s thought,  Make sure the image you are trying to view is actually bigger than the intermediate pic. Otherwise it won't give you a full size pop up,

I thought of that too but even some of my own are 1000 to 1300 wide and even those are showing ---it claims at about 80% viewable when viewed at the largest size

many are also that size and even the recent ones that can be larger--up to 2000 wide are not showing real full size unless you rightclick to view image as...then maybe you get the actual size after mid size.

we always had them showing at full size after mid size but somewhere after we upgraded to 1.5 that went away...nor real sure when or what to do to get it back

As far as I remember that is a feature (shrinking the fullsize to fit on the screen). Means the fullsized is sized down (JavaScript) to nearly screen resolution.
A dirty hack would be to rename displayimage.fullsize.js to something else (eg. displayimage.fullsize.js.off).

@ heavensportal** - please, (please) try searching around the board first.

I made a plugin - you would have easily found it here:
Big Pop Up Images

** For all problems, for all readers, current and future

@stramm

thanks I will see. if I can do that

@Joe

I searched for topics, not for plugins...I never even thought of that. I thought maybe it was our own gallery just being mean to my members since we had the ability at one time.

thanks to you both.
