Using Coppermine
« on: September 25, 2012, 11:44:02 pm »

Hi

I am considering using Coppermine, but note that the last update was back in March 2012.

Is Coppermine still a live project (as I dont want to install a system that is no longer moving forward).

Thanks and look forward to reply.

Coppermine is still moving forward.  You can see the files being constantly updated here in the repository.  http://coppermine.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/coppermine/

Working towards version 1.6.x, so don't worry.  ;)

Brilliant news!

Will existing CPG 1.5.20 installs be able to run an update/upgrade script to version 1.6?  Is there an ETA?

Thanks

Sure, but there will be at least one more cpg1.5.x release, as we've committed already some (minor) fixes to our SVN repository.

Is there an ETA?
No. Don't expect it in the near future.
