Album and photo views not always registering.
« on: August 04, 2012, 10:20:40 am »

I have searched the forum and although there are several mentions of problems with 'views', I cannot find any that may solve my problem.

When a user views an album or photo it will sometimes count the view and sometimes not.  I have not been able to determine any reason why or why not.

Anyone out there with any suggestions please?

Using version 1.5.20.

Many thanks in advance.

John.

Sorry, I forgot to say - it is a private site so no URL given.  I am quite willing to email it privately and set up a user/admin account for one of the 'gurus' if needed.

Cheers.

Coppermine stores your last 5 views in a cookie. A view is just counted if the currently viewed picture isn't found in that cookie. Additionally, there's a config setting to count admin views.

Many thanks for that, André.

That explains it.

Cheers.
