1.4.x --> 1.5.20 CAPTCHA and help pop ups not working
« on: July 24, 2012, 06:27:03 pm »

I upgraded following the directions on this site.

I enabled captcha for registrations but it only shows a red x.

Also, clicking any of the help popups brings up an IE cannot read this webpage format error message.

The phpinfo screen shows the following under GD

GD Support  enabled
GD Version  bundled (2.0.34 compatible)
GIF Read Support  enabled
GIF Create Support  enabled
JPG Support  enabled
PNG Support  enabled
WBMP Support  enabled
XPM Support  enabled
XBM Support  enabled

Site is www.attitudepie.com/wholesale

I didn't have any plugins or custom themes installed on 1.4.x.

When checking phpinfo i don't even see an entry for freetype support.  So that would mean it's not enabled I assume.  Correct?

That would be my guess but you can always contact your hosting provider for a definitive answer.

As for your help popups check if help.php is in Coppermines root dir. If that doesn't solve the issue please start another thread.

I'm waiting for a response from my host.

The help file is there so I'll start a new thread.

Thank you.

It was fixed by my webhost enabling freetype support.
