My album is going to used for members to email admin pictures for admin to upload so I only need 1 album that we upload to and that album becomes the main index page.

It was suggested that I use "lastup" as the desired setting for me to achieve this, good news it works, bad news as I have hundreds of images to store I was rather hoping to find a "next page" button appear at the bottom so member can page through the whole site rather than have hundreds of images on the first page.

Is this possible or is there another way to achieve what I'm after.

you should use catlist/alblist for the page index. There's a hack on the cpg1.2 support board (or the mods board, I'm not sure) that does what you're looking for: it always displays the contents of a certain album as start page of the gallery. Please search the board for this hack.
