Instead of banning that IP address you should use a robots.txt file if you don't like the Google bot.

I think you have to ask Google why their bot tries to crawl that pages.

I think you have to ask Google why their bot tries to crawl that pages.

This might not be the case, but when I ran Google site map generator with no restrictions a few years back it found and listed every potential link on the site.
