Batch Add/move, select all
« on: October 19, 2003, 04:47:50 pm »

Forgive me if i am stupid and cannot see but is there a better way to batch add a large amount of pics? I dont see it. It would be great if we could "select all" rather than tick off each pic. Although I realise xp_publish works fine with xp, what if i wasnt using xp? And again I would like to say I have read the board and can see the idea of batch move has been proposed, it should be "select all" available too!

:) thats all

when using ftp upload and batch-add, all pics that aren't already in the database should be selected by default. Is this not the case with your gallery?

Yes gaugau, it does it now. :)

Why I had this problem earlier I do not know. As I had no pics on my site when I FTP u/load earlier, it cannot be a case of mistaken folder, because all pics were new and thus should have all been selected by default in the batch add. So I dont know. Anyway, I believe my point of 'select all' for possible batch move feature should still be considered.

yes, we'll consider it, but the disaster with the no-right-click option showed that you can't trust JavaScript, and the "select all" would have to be JavaScript. But I'm sure it'll go into a future version, as it's easy to do.
