Custom Fields?
« on: September 03, 2011, 12:19:32 am »

Hi all, if I recall correctly the earlier version of Coppermine had a way of adding custom fields to photos. I don't see that option with 1.5 version nor do I see any plugins in the repository that will add custom fields. I'd like to have users include website, licensing, and other information when they upload photos. Website would have to be a url field, licensing would be a drop-down selection and required, by: (photographers name) would be optional, etc.. any ideals how I can have these fields shown during upload and the information displayed along with public view of photos? In short, is there any way to have custom fields? Thanks

There's four custom fields already there for you to use. ;)

Config > Custom fields for image description (leave blank if unused)

Duhhhh!!!  :o

I never clicked on config, just the drop down items under it. I sure was missing a lot of settings! Thanks lurkalot

Sir, I have one question : how to add or appear custom fields in the album properties below Album Description. (I mean not in image description). Thanks.
