Tag users and notification

Is there possible to tag into a photo the users of your coppermine gallery and then they receive an email like "... someone tagged you in ... that photo", and  "... someone comment on a photo you are tagged in ..." ???

Not sure if the plugin sends and email or not but it does allow you to tag photos.
