Server to slow any other way to upload and add to gallery?
« on: August 19, 2011, 04:19:11 pm »

Hi all,

I am trying to use coppermine for my online gallery, I have uploaded folders with pictures in but when i try to batch add the photo's inside the folder it will only do a small amount of them then stop, It would take me ages to select say 10 at a time, Is there any other way to add these to the gallery? could this be due to me hosting on a slow server and if so should i resize or create thumbnails before uploading?

Thanks

It shouldn't matter how much pictures you try to add at the same time. If a picture makes trouble (for whatever reason), it will be skipped. As an alternative you could try to use the built-in flash uploader.

The Built in flash uploader also causes issue's when uploading a large amount of files in no matter what browser i use, I don't get error messages when using batch upload it just put's ticks by a small amount of them and just stops, No errors at all.
