picutres don't belong to any albums?
« on: June 25, 2004, 04:47:27 am »

Using 1.3.0, upgraded from 1.2.1.  Some of the pictures I've uploaded do not have any albums assigned to them, yet they are in albums themselves.  If I try to edit them, there is no list to chose from.

From what I can tell, they may be from files I had batch uploaded before in 1.2.1.

Has anyone seen this before?

what is meant by deep links?  A direct link to the pages w/ problems?

But I have narrowed it down a bit possibly.  As the admin, I cannot assign these photos anywhere.  As the user however, I see the categories.

Since I have these photos uploaded to subdirectories other than the ones generated by coppermine, could this be it?   As I said before, these seem to be what I batch uploaded/added.

Thanks

any link would help, along with a description. Preferably, you post a link to the album the pics are supposed to show in on your page, plus a link to the jpg file itself. A deep link means - generally speaking - a link not pointing to your start page, but somewhere down your page navigation. Does this sound logical to you?

ah, yes, I understand now.

The problem is... the pictures are all showing up fine, it's just, when I'm logged in as an admin, there are certain pictures I cannot move.  I believe they are the ones I batch uploaded.  However, if I log in as the repsective user, I can freely change the album assignment like I'm suppose to.

So... I can't really post a link, it's kind of linked to the admin.

why don't you let me decide and just post a link to the pic you would like to move as admin?

I see: the filename/foldername mustn't contain single quotes.

So there were more places to fix the quote thing than I had done in that one file basically... apostrophes just givin me trouble...
