Looking for a "flat" fodler structure setup
« on: July 01, 2011, 02:40:24 am »

Hi !
I use CP for a few years with about 100 users. Thanks to the CP team for all your work.

I want to revamp and update my gallery with this requirement: Every user has 1 folder only, he cannot create subfolders.
The memberfolder should be displayed at the CP index page.
A setup like a virtual gallery, in a real gallery one artist has only one room or corner to display his/her works and not dozen's of sub-rooms (except Pablo Picasso museum in Spain!).

Appreciate your feedback
cheers
Sven

Every user has 1 folder only
I assume you mean one 'album' in the gallery, right? Please post a link to your gallery so we can get an idea how your gallery is currently structured and what has to be changed.

As far as I can judge your current gallery has exactly one album per user?

Yes, it is a workaround. Every user has a UPLOAD album (folder), uploaded images are transferred into a member album which is owned by the admin. Not convenient for users!
