Is it possible for Coppermine to directly play the videos?
« on: February 28, 2010, 10:30:35 pm »

Hi,

I'd like to know if it's possible, since I'm using Coppermine for my videos gallery, to directly play the videos from the page (like on PHPmotion) instead of just being able to download the video file.

Thanks in advance!

Even though there's nothing up there yet, here's the link:

One of the files on your gallery is corrupted, it displays a parse error
Quote
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/kate/public_html/videovault/include/langfallback.inc.php  on line 551
. Replace the broken file(s) with a vanilla copy.

That's what coppermine does out of the box, provided your browser is capable to accomplish that. That's why I wanted to see the link. Your gallery is broken - fix it and embedded videos should work. You failed to specify what video format you're refering to, hence the generic answer.

like on PHPmotion
I don't know that app, so I can't tell if it works the same way coppermine works.

Fix your gallery, then report back please, prefereably with a deep link to a video inside your gallery.

I am resurrecting an old post here.

If anyone can help me figure this out, I would appreciate it.

http://micksplace.net/coppermine/

Is there any way to up load LARGE wmv videos (5-25 megs) that will play directly from Coppermine?

I put a small one on my site and it plays fine. When I tried to upload a large video of one of MY songs, it said the the file was too big.

I changed the file size allowance to 100 megs.

Now when I try to upload it, it seems to upload fine, but at the end it says exceeded file size allowed In php.ini

Is there something else that I can change in the configuration, or is this a server problem?

Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Sorry about that. I meant for this to be on the 1.5. board.

Will re-post it there.
