Multiple Group Permissions for Albums
« on: June 11, 2011, 12:41:40 pm »

I would like to ask you if it could be possible to add multiple Permission settings (Usergroups) per Album.

That way I can say that a user from 1 usergroup cant see this album, while a user that is in an additional usergroup, can see that usergroup.
That way I can still have that album not accessible by users in just one of those groups, but for others that have an additional usergroups can access it.

That would make things much easier.

Thank you very much.

So you're asking for a feature that will just grant access if you're in all of the selected user groups? If that feature will be implemented in the future, I suggest to add and "AND/OR" toggle, so the admin can select if users that are in any of the selected groups can access that album or if they have to be in all of the selected albums.

I adhere to this petition.

But if possible to do, a little change, is good.
And I think possible to implement.

For ejample, now the options:
Groups > Groups Manager > Access level

*none
*thumbnail only
*thumbnail and intermediate image (with see comments)
*thumbnail, intermediate, and full-size image

Add
*thumbnail and intermediate image (without see comments)

If possible?
Or is possible to do now?

Thank a lot to all CPG team
Best regards
