hi, reading through the documentation i see the xmb forum has no bridge to coppermine.

This is suprising as coppermine supports such forums as invision which charge, whereas xmb and coppermine to there great credit are open source.

so, have the coppermine team ( or others ) any plans to write a bridge or is one available anywhere?

afaik there's no XMB bridge available. You have to understand that most bridge files (at least those for commercial bbs) are user contributions. But of course you're encouraged to create an XMB bridge file and share it (in fact it'd be highly appreciated).
