File too large error not shown
« on: June 23, 2004, 01:12:31 am »

all right so I just installed coppermine and I purposely tried to upload a file bigger than what i have set in the config, but instead of showing the default "size error" it just says "If you have really selected a picture to upload, check that the server allows file uploads..." is there anyway to fix this to show the actual problem? as i know there is an entry in the language file that says "the file you tried to upload is too big" or something like that... i need to fix this because i'm using the gallery in a car oriented site and users arent really computer savvy, they could spends hours trying to figure out what's wrong... thx in advance.

split your posting from the thread you were replying to, since it's unrelated. Don't try hijacking other user's threads.

Upgrade to version 1.3.0.

The error messages are clear, unless the problem lies with the servers ability.
