Track users / logins - is there a way?
« on: April 20, 2011, 12:37:27 pm »

Hi all,

i have a private gallery which is restricted access to my clients from which they can download their selected images from my commisioned shoots.  When i login as admin i can see how many views each image has had but is there a way of see who has viewed?  I'm thinking that if a client shares their access with anyone else who is supposed to pay for extra image usage otherwise copyright and license breeches occur, then i would like to have some sort of record / evidence.

I suppose it will be difficult as IP addresses don't really make it clear, maybe a login location record might do it.

your help is apprciated as ever.

Darren

The existing "detailed hit stats" option will give you more information. See http://documentation.coppermine-gallery.net/en/configuration.htm#admin_logging_hitdetails.
