My third ported theme for CPG is ready yet. Synthetic Blue is totally unmodded. All extra options as there are language- and theme choises are implemented in the html-file. Synthetic Blue should work with the most configurations and available Browsers (I hope  :) ).

Download Synthetic Blue for CPG v1.2.x HERE

Have fun... I take a break .

It looks fantastic, good job. :)

Only 1 tiny problem, its not really a problem, just me being lazy....

If using anycontent.php to display languages and theme skins like I am I now have the choices for lang & themes down the bottom with my anycontent.php and along the side with your very good looking theme :)

liek i said im lazy...

thats all

I can't change it for you  :). So you have to edit template.html, search the block <!-- Themes begin --> and cut out the whole block til <!-- Themes end-->. And ready! As you could see there are many other blocks below. Be creative and cut out what is unnessesary for you.

Very nice theme; I've managed to integrate it into coppermine nicely (and yes, the menus are on the right hand side of the gallery block).
You can see it in the demo and download it from http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/coppermine/theme_cpg1.2.0_synthetic_blue.zip?download , but I must make some things clear about this theme
  • Synthetic blue is not released under the GNU GPL terms - there's a readme attached to the package that explains copyright issues in detail: you are allowed to use it on your site as long as the copyright notices stay intact
  • it will not work in all browsers, as the theme doesn't use valid standard html
  • you'll have to touch up coppermine for Synthetic blue to display nicely (e.g. if intermediate sized images are too big their display will break up the layout)[/list:u]
That's why this theme will remain an add-on and will not go into the next distribution of coppermine. This has only minimal impact on end users, it only means: if a new version of coppermine comes out and you're using this theme, you will have to modify it to work with a future version.

  What next commercially designed themes for CPG, Well I would be happy if that did happen...

BUT as far as copyright notices are concerned GNU GPL has provisions for that - need not have a different license for it.

May be designers can consider Creative Commons Licenses for themes

Just ready to share 3 NEW themes for our Baby  :). Blue Tatoo is a Rapsodie in Blue as the name already says. Cold Wire comes right out of the green woods for them how loves it green. Last but not least comes Lipstik with his overwelming lipglossie red  8). By the way, Lipstik is totaly reworked in style.css.

Very nice   8)   You are the master of themes. Lipstick looks incredible(and matches my frame buttons nicely). Have you thought of doing a minimalist theme?

one more thing... with so many themes at the bottom of your page, have you considered tabling them like my site or the demo here?

I really like the lipstik theme - my favourite contribution of DaMysterious so far.
The themes have been added to our download section and can be viewed "in action" on our demo (notice the theme selection at the bottom of the demo page).

I think of that, with some ideas in mind. First I have to release another new theme the next days named Floral Brown. Thanks for the title master of themes, but I'm only master of myself.  8)

Have you considered writing a tutorial on creating themes - I would really like to see one from you because you seem to be doing the themes so fast and so well...

Even a small write up on the steps involved OR the flow of work will be great - If needed I can help and fill in gaps for you in the article/tutorial

I should think about that Tarique. If I found time (more themes are still wating to used under CPG) I'll should write down the different steps how to make/convert a new theme for Coppermine and how to manage style.css. But please, don't try to force me. Creating thems resides at the first place for me at the moment  (I'm totally freaked out 8)).

Impressive. I reccommend anyone who wants to use all these themes use the 'list' feature (anyconent.php), rather than the 'links' ... they are all great, good work!!!!

**in a soothing voice**
You are getting very sleepy...
You are getting very sleepy...
You are getting very sleepy...

You are ASLEEP!

DaMysterious... you will make a tutorial so that all can share in the joys of template creation... you will WANT to do this... it will make you happy... and... when you wake up... you will cluck like a chicken!

**snaps fingers**

Let's see if that works  ;)

nice pic jasendorf.

About the comment tarique made, it would be good if there was a clear guide, I would very much like to make CPG themes based on the default board themes, eg. sub_silver
