Images taking forever to upload

I tried uploading files on my gallery (oh-leighton.com/images) and when I click upload, it's taking forever to load. I tried uploading more than once. Help please?

What siez images are you uploading? How fast is the upload side of your internet connection? Is your server really busy? Have uploads ever been fast? There really are far too many things that could be slowing down your uploads to diagnose without more information. Please read the section of the docs entitled "Troubleshooting the upload process" and do everything outlined in there so we can perform some tests for you.

That gallery is running <!--Coppermine Photo Gallery 1.4.23 (stable)--> .

Please upgrade to Coppermine 1.5.12 before returning. Versions 1.4.x are not supported since December 2010. Your version is very much out of date for 1.4.x. Your gallery is at risk.
