database hacked
« on: March 12, 2011, 04:02:36 am »

Hi..
Somehow my database was hacked. A bunch of pictures were renamed and some were assigned to different albums. Not all of the renamed files were moved and not all of the moved files were renamed. All the versions (normal, thumb, etc) of the changed pictures were renamed. There doesn't seem to be anything else wrong. Any ideas on what happened and how to prevent it?

 thanks!

Thanks...I can't believe I missed that when I was searching the forum. I also can't believe what a mess this is and to top it off my last backup file is corrupt.  >:( Just for information, the hack happened on March 4 2011 and was perpetrated by "santabloodcruz". If you google that name, dozens of coppermine galleries will come up, all apparently victim to this same person on that same day.
