My Coppermine gallery I am finding is running slow, as is the rest of my site, however I find that the Coppermine gallery runs especially slow.

What exactly is your question? If a site runs slow, usually wrong server setup is to blame (if you're running your own server, which seems to be the case, considering the non-standard port), or too much load on the server when webhosted (too many websites running on a virtual hosting machine). Please understand that we can't do anything about slow servers, especially if you provide such poor information about it.

Maybe I should start over...I am running a Windows server.  All my other services run okay, yet Coppermine runs especially slow.

Well I avg about 5 mbps down and 1 mbps up through my cable connection..
