[Solved]: help for upgrading
« on: June 17, 2004, 01:20:12 am »

hello
Quote
Except for the "albums" directory, upload all of the new files and directories making sure not to overwrite the include/config.inc.php file or the albums directory.
Is that meaning to keep my album directory and my config.inc.php as it is and replace all the others?just adding "edit" to "albums".
my gallery is integrated to ipb ,do I have to redo the integration on the new files before replacing?
thank you

Not quite.
You need to replace all the files inside the include directory, except the config.inc.php.  If you overwrite the whole directory, you will lose that file.

You will need to edit the 1.3.0  init.inc.php and the bridge file, replace your existing ones, and the bridge should still work.

thank you very much! :)
upgrading went fine!,except one thing.when showing user galleries it used to show on thumbnails,by default ,the last update
but now only showing the nopic.gif for all, even if I change the last update to another pic.
Is there a solution?
[EDIT] found the solution,by uploading the new  1.8 index.php :)
sorry, but english is not my usual language :-\\

Your English is very good, but no need to apologise even if it was not.  We understand that most users do not have English as their first language.  ;)
