new registrants to certain user groups
« on: February 02, 2011, 06:24:39 am »

I want to setup a question during registration that if answered in one of two ways will put the new user into a certain group. Can this be done with Coppermine?

That's not possible out of the box.

Right! Well, is there a place to request a plugin for this? Or, am I in the right place?

You can use the plugins board to request a plugin or use the freelancer board if you're willing to pay. If you don't want to pay for that plugin, I suggest we move this thread to the plugins board instead of starting a new thread for the same topic. Just let me know.

This is neither the plugins board nor the freelancer board. Please read http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,15866.0.html

Do you want us to move the thread to one of those 2 boards?

Αndré, yes please move to the plugin request board and can you please point me in that direction as well? I looked for the appropriate board but obviously not good enough, I apologize.

Seeing as how this is the "Feature Request" board, is this possible to accomplish this in future releases of the software? I'm sure I'm not the only person interested in this.

Moved to plugins board and merged with your other thread.

Please start a seperate thread in the feature requests board if you want to see that feature in a future release. But I doubt it will become a core feature.
