I don't see SMF users in Coppermine
« on: January 23, 2011, 06:10:19 pm »

Hello,

I'm using last version of Coppermine (1.5.12) bridged with SMF 1.1.12. When I've installed Coppermine, it was still 1.4.x versions. Since I've upgraded to 1.5.x I only see two users from SMF. When I log on SMF, I used to be seen as administrator in Coppermine, and it is not the case anymore. I'm even not in the users list. I've run the bridge manager another time without success. I really don't know what's happening.

Thank you

My forum and gallery : http://www.clicletruc.org

Test user : Testuser
Test user password : testuser

Bridge manager :

Step 1 : I choose SMF 1.x
Step 2 : I put ../ as relative path since SMF is at the root of my domain and Coppermine in a subfolder.
Step 3 : I say "yes" to use the groups based on the numbers of posts.
Step 4 : I click on activate and Finish the procedure.

I only see two users from SMF
Which one? Do you see the 'testuser' account?

Bridging seems to work as expected, as I successfully logged in with the test account. Please try if the issue occurs with the default theme: http://www.clicletruc.org/galerie/index.php?theme=curve

I've tried and logged in as admin following your link. It's the same problem. When I look in the users list I only see two users even if it is written on the lower left corner that there should be 58 users displayed on 3 pages and if I log with my own account, I'm a regular user when I'm supposed to be an admin too.

We have a similar issue in the bugs board. I currently don't know why it happens. Maybe you can find out some more details about the users which will be displayed? Do you see the SMF groups in Coppermine's group manager?

Means: why are only they displayed and the others not. What's the difference?
