Errors with coppermine

I have the following problems with coppermine-
1. Thumbnails do not appear for albums
2. Can upload files but can't place them in any album
3. Thumbnails are very blurry and of crappy quality
4. Can't use CoppermineSC in wordpress as it shows an error on the homepage.

upgrade your gallery first to the latest stable version and put the Coppermine Copyright footer on your page...

I can't do that, my gallery was pre-installed and provided by my hosts
