GD2 or ImageMagick
« on: June 13, 2004, 01:29:03 am »

I've got both GD2 and ImageMagick (ImageMagick 5.5.7 03/23/04 ) on my system.  Is one preferable to the other?

That depends on what you want to do with them.  IM produces slightly better quality images.  GD2 provides better options for memory management and server stability.

Thanks. I'll opt for image management.  This is a *very* small server, so stability is pretty easy to come by.
