Version check question?
« on: December 02, 2010, 09:38:39 am »

Hi congrats on the release of 1.5.10, and thanks. ;)

I have now upgraded to 1.5.10, but I'm finding the results of the version checker a bit confusing to say the least.

File versions are 1.5.10 and revisions 8107

I now have mostly files that are marked as modified / File may be corrupt (or you have deliberately edited it).

Is this the required result, or do I have a problems?

Just to confirm, I did upload the files again using Filezilla just to be sure.

I also recognized that behavior after transferring files to my webspace (versioncheck returns no errors on my local testbed, but on my production site). So, you probably don't have a problem :) If you check 'Only show potential errors', it shouldn't return any errors.

Thanks Andre.

Did as you suggested, but it comes up with a long list of files

Displaying 2227 items of 2227 folders/files processed with 822 potential issues.  They all show as before, the File versions are 1.5.10 and revisions 8107 and, files that are marked as modified / File may be corrupt (or you have deliberately edited it).

If you enable 'Only show potential errors' it doesn't check for file modifications (at least it shouldn't). No worry, if everything runs fine.

Thanks Andre.

Funny thing is I did check the 'Only show potential errors' box thinking this is all it would show me.  But there's another box for, 'Don't check for modified files', and I hadn't checked this one. ;)

Anyway, marking solved as all seems to be working.

Cheers.
